Por 12 años, el artista osornino Miguel Urriola fue fundador y director de la Escuela Regional de Artesanos.
Su obra escultórica será parte de una exposición que permanecerá abierta al público en Teatro del Lago desde el 3 al 18 de marzo en Espacio Rupanco.

Miguel Urriola
Miguel Urriola Muñoz hizo historia por su larga trayectoria en el mundo de la cultura. Durante su vida artística, en años 1981, tuvo una destacada participación en la formación de la Escuela Nacional de Artesanos, para luego instalarse como director en la Escuela Regional de Artesanos de Purranque y como profesor de platería mapuche y apreciación artística.
Casado con la talentosa artista local, y fiel compañera, Kena Yaksic, brilló en silencio en Chile, pero con reconocimientos internacionales. Por tal razón, un grupo de amigos, tomó la decisión de levantar desde la ciudadanía un merecido homenaje y destacar la obra desarrollada durante años por Miguel Urriola, a través de una exposición de sus trabajos que realizó por años en un lugar especial de su cálido hogar, de los que el mundo cultural en forma transversal desconocía. “Este era el lado A del escultor nacional”, según dijo su esposa Kena.

On the day of the show, the box office will be open until 15 minutes before the show starts.
- The doors of Teatro del Lago open 45 minutes before the start of the show.
- Once the show has begun, access to the hall will not be allowed.
- Ticket exchanges will be made up to 48 hours before the show.
- Ticket returns are accepted up to 7 days prior to the show.
- The refund percentage will correspond to 50% of the total value of the ticket.
- No food or beverages are allowed in the room.
- Children 2 years of age and older are allowed in the room.
- Parents are responsible for their children's behavior in the classroom.
- No photography or recording is allowed inside the room.
- Tickets purchased are the sole responsibility of the person making the purchase.
- Teatro del Lago reserves the right to modify its programming, dates and schedules for technical, artistic or force majeure reasons.
- In case of cancellation of the show, you may choose between a refund of the ticket price or the subsequent subscription for a next show.

- For any show, we welcome children from 2 years of age. However, we recommend you to check the suggested age of each show before making your purchase.
All persons -including children-, must have the corresponding ticket to enter the theater.
It is the sole responsibility of the parents the behavior of the children during the course of the show.
We have a cloakroom service.
Upon entering the Theater and at each access door to the theater, you will find our team of guides, who, taking all the precautions corresponding to the existing sanitary measures, will help you find your seat and provide general information about the show and the available services.
We are very punctual. All our shows start at the announced time. This is why we recommend arriving at least 30 minutes early, to avoid traffic at the entrance to the city and delays in finding your seat.
You can use them before and after the show, when you are not in the theater. Once in your seat, you must mute and lower the brightness of any type of electronic device (cell phone, tablet, camera, video, among others) because the light and sound of these, distracts and interrupts the artists on stage.
The program can be downloaded to your cell phone through a QR that will be available at the entrance of the room. You will be able to check it during the show.
