This program, which has been developed since 2013, was created by Teatro del Lago together with the Ibáñez Atkinson Foundation with the objective of strengthening choral groups through the training of directors and teachers of choirs from educational establishments in the south of Chile.

Objectives

By increasing access to the arts we are promoting psychosocial well-being and the development of socioemotional skills.

Ibáñez Atkinson Foundation.

The alliance between Fundación Teatro del Lago and Fundación Ibáñez Atkinson began in 2013, with the aim of promoting the development of music and singing in Chile. Both foundations share a commitment to promote culture and training, and to create opportunities for all Chileans to have access to these experiences.

We have developed joint programs such as Puedes Cantar, which has trained more than 2,000 children and young people in choral singing, and has generated a network of school choirs in the Los Ríos and Los Lagos Regions.

Programs.

Since our inception, the differentiating element has been the explicit statement of our educational mission: the conviction that through education and access to the arts we can contribute to improving the quality of life of people and build a happier and more integrated society.
