Masterclasses and Academies
Teatro del Lago offers opportunities for extended learning to students and professional musicians who come to Frutillar with an interest in improving their technical skills and artistic knowledge.
These courses are led by the same artists who appear at Teatro del Lago’s Tronador auditorium, thereby creating a unique training experience for the attendees.
The Master Class in Chamber Music
The Master Class in Chamber Music (CMMC) is a Teatro del Lago initiative that opens up a new space in chamber music tuition, where participants can intensify their studies for one week. During this time they receive personalized teaching from internationally renowned master artists, an unforgettable experience. As a perfect ending, CMMC students perform two final concerts together with their fellow students and professors, in which they demonstrate their talent and progress made during the courses.
Social Educational Programmes
With its free, socially inclusive educational programmes, the Teatro del Lago Foundation aims to demonstrate to students that artistic development can be a driver of change. By doing so, it achieves another form of socio-educational intervention, in that it acts as a protective factor againstsituations of conflict and the risk of social exclusion.
Educating through music and dance fosters healthy growth, propelling the development of aesthetic sensitivity, a life of emotions and personal development. The School’s teaching staff commands broad artistic experience and teaching skills.
School of the Arts
The School of the Arts aims to promote creativity and the development of socio-emotional skills in children, youth, and adults through comprehensive training in the disciplines of dance and music, as well as promoting co-creation within an inclusive and joyful space.
