Live three intensive contemporary hip-hop meetings by the outstanding national dancer Kike Faúndez, which will take place on May 27th and 28th, August 12th and 13th and December 2nd and 3rd of this year, at Teatro del Lago.
Each workshop will last three hours a day and are aimed at young people and adults from 12 years old, with or without experience.
If you participate in the three workshops you can be part of the final presentation on December 3rd at 6 PM at Teatro del Lago, together with the group from the hip-hop workshop of the Teatro del Lago Escuela de las Artes. Do not miss this unforgettable training experience!

Kike Faundez Review
He began his career in folklore, becoming a member of the Chilean Folkloric Ballet, “Bafochi”, between 1998-2004, as a soloist and first dancer of the company, traveling to more than 22 countries, including the United States, Canada, Argentina, France, Spain, Italy, Sweden, Switzerland, England, Germany, Belgium, Portugal, Holland, Norway, Denmark, Israel, China, among others. Then, it is part of the “Chamber Ballet” of the Municipal Theatre of Santiago with the teacher Jaime Pinto.
During 2008 he travels to the United States for six months to perfect himself in New York at the “Steps on Broadway” school and “Broadway Dance Center”, he is also invited to participate in independent works with choreographers such as Max Stone, Karen Gayle and Todd Shanks, he also travels to Los Angeles and takes classes at “Millenium Dance Complex” and “Debbye Reynolds”.
On television he participated in the dance reality show “Fama” in 2007 where he won first place and has participated in TV programs as a dancer. During 2022, he participates in the TV program “Aquí se baila”, first season, on Channel 13, obtaining first place.
In 2009 he joined the Chilean National Ballet “BANCH” where he participated in all its seasons with national and international choreographers and on tours until 2021 when he retired from this company. Parallel to his career as a performer, he immersed himself in the world of choreography and created large-format works such as: “Contra el tiempo” (2014), “Qué pasa en la sala” (2017), performed at the GAM Cultural Center and small-format works such as: “Count on me”, “No more”, “Stereotype” and “Feel the real”. In 2019 he premiered “Que tal si…” a work created for the Chilean National Ballet. In 2020, she performs her first virtual work during the pandemic called “Esperanza” which is invited to “Teatro a Mil” the same year.
He has participated as a dance jury in events such as: “We Just Dance” (2018), “Dfay Jam” (December 2018) and “Vive dance” (August 2019 and 2020)
As a teacher, he has worked at the “Bafochi” headquarters in Viña del Mar, “Modern School of Music and Dance”, “MDA Studios”, “Kike Faúndez Academy” and “Elite Dance Centre”. In addition to conducting workshops and masterclasses.
